welcome

The Grand Traverse Area Rock and Mineral Club, Traverse City, Michigan (GTARMC) is open to rockhounds of all ages. Promoting our hobby is our main goal. Here is our mission statement.

All regular meetings and most classes are held at the Grand Traverse Heritage Center (the old library) at 322 Sixth Street in Traverse City, Michigan. To find the Heritage Center, turn west on Sixth St. from Union St., which is 4 blocks south of Grandview Parkway (US-31, M-72, M-37). The Heritage Center is the first building on the right, about 2 blocks from Union St. The meetings (except August and December) are held on the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m., in the large room just to the right after you enter the sliding front door in the new part of the building. Please visit our next meeting, you do not have to be a member of the GTARMC to attend.

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Membership in the Grand Traverse Area Rock and Mineral Club offers many benefits including:

  • Monthly newsletter
