Welcome - An outdoor meeting is being planned for July. Date and location information will be available soon.

The Grand Traverse Area Rock and Mineral Club, Traverse City, Michigan (GTARMC) is open to rockhounds of all ages. Promoting our hobby is our main goal. Here is our mission statement.

We are hoping to have an outdoor meeting for our July 21 date. The location and other details will be announced soon. Our indoor regular meeting schudule is on hold due to the Covid 19 closures. These indoor meetings are usually held in the McGuire Room of the Traverse Area District Library at 610 Woodmere Avenue in Traverse City, Michigan, beginning at 6:45 p.m. on generally the third Tuesday of the month. To find the library, turn south on Woodmere Ave. from Eighth St., and travel about one block and the library will be on the right. The McGuire Room is on the left immediately as you enter the building. See the newsletter for more details. Club meetings (except August and December) are usually held on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:45 p.m. Due to certain Library events, the day of the week changes occasionally. Please visit our next meeting, you do not have to be a member of the GTARMC to attend and rockhounds of all ages are welcome, including young rockpups.
